Subname Store
Let people mint a subname of your domain.
Start by navigating to your profile:
Hover over the name you want to enable for subname minting, click on the 3 dots icon and choose “view in manager” to proceed.
The Name will be opened on the name manager page.
To make your name submintable, click on the “edit config” button in the Sub Mint Config Bar.
In the Subname Configuration Menu, you can set a Minting Fee.
Revoke Can Unwrap
Be careful: The 'Revoke Can Unwrap' toggle when enabled, ensures that the name is permanently tied to the current contract. This means that once you issue subnames, they cannot be revoked or deleted by switching back to an older contract version.
Proceed by clicking “Next”.
Confirm the Pop-Up. The transaction requires a gas fee on the Ethereum Network.
Done!
The transaction consumes a gas fee on the Ethereum network.
Where do I see the subnames?
To see your subnames simply switch to the “subname” tab on your name manager page.
Here you will see all minted subnames of your name:
How to mint a subname of your own name?
On your name manager page, simply switch to the subname tab and click on the button on the right side "Mint Subname".
Here you can enter all the subnames you want to mint.
Advanced Options / Mint Subnames to another Wallet:
By opening the advanced drop-down, you can mint the subnames into a different wallet.
Where can others mint subnames of my name?
To let others know that your name allows subname minting, simply share the name page, e.g., vision.io/name/ens/chihiro.eth. Others will see the "Mint Subname" button and can mint a subname under your parent name for the fee you’ve set.
